Altitude: 69 m a.s.l.

Tower height: 344 m

Concentrations of CO2 and CH4 are measured at five heights (30 m, 60 m, 132 m, 216 m and 341 m) using a Picarro G2301 CRDS analyser with a measurement duration of 5 minutes per height, sequentially sampling each height. The station is also equipped with a Los Gatos LGR 30-EP analyser for N2O and CO. Air samples for radon are collected at a height of 132 m and analysed with a time resolution of 30 minutes in order to obtain information about the vertical mixing of the atmosphere

To record the meteorological parameters at the five sampling heights and on an additional structure at a height of 2.5 m the following measuring instruments are used:

  • Air temperature and humidity: Vaisala HMP155
  • Wind direction and speed: Thies Ultrasonic Anemometer 2D
  • Precipitation: Eigenbrodt RS85
  • Air pressure: Vaisala PTB330
  • Global radiation: Kipp & Zonen CMP11

These data are supplied on a continuous basis at a time resolution of 1 minute.
